My commitment to digital accessibility

I believe the internet should be available and accessible to everyone. I am committed to making www.sylviedigiusto.com an inclusive and welcoming experience for all visitors, including people with disabilities.

My goal is for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, a globally recognized benchmark for accessibility, and I am working toward the newer WCAG 2.2. To help me find and remove barriers, I use the Ally Web Accessibility & Usability tool to scan my website for issues.

What I am doing

• Regularly scanning my website for accessibility issues and correcting the barriers I find.
• Adding alternative text to meaningful images and media.
• Working to make sure clickable elements can be reached and used with a keyboard.
• Working toward readable fonts, sufficient color contrast and text that can be enlarged.
• Structuring my content with semantic HTML for better screen reader compatibility.

Known limitations

Despite my efforts, some parts of www.sylviedigiusto.com may not yet be fully accessible. In particular:

• Some videos use automatically generated captions, which may contain errors.
• Some older downloadable documents, such as PDFs, may not be fully accessible.
• Some features are provided by third parties, such as embedded videos, my online course platform and the chat assistant on this site. I choose these tools with care, but I do not fully control their accessibility.

I keep reviewing and improving these areas to give everyone the best possible experience.

Alternative formats

If any content on this website is not accessible to you, I will gladly provide it in another format, for example a transcript, an accessible document, or a conversation by phone or email.
