Your information is yours. I collect only what I need to answer you, send you what you asked for, and run this site well. I don’t sell or rent it, and you can always ask me what I hold or ask me to delete it.
Sylvie di Giusto LLC (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.sylviedigiusto.com (the “Website”), communicate with us, or use our services, how we use and protect that information, and the choices and rights you have.
By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use.
The Website is operated by Sylvie di Giusto LLC, 8635 W Hillsborough Avenue, #483, Tampa, FL 33615, United States. For visitors in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Sylvie di Giusto LLC is the controller of your personal data. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@sylviedigiusto.com.
The Website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete it. If you believe we might hold information from or about a child, please contact us at hello@sylviedigiusto.com.
Information you provide to us. We collect the information you choose to give us, for example when you:
This typically includes your name, email address, organization, role, event details, and anything else you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, operating system, the pages you view, the time spent on them, and the website that referred you. Some of this information, such as your IP address, may count as personal information under applicable law, and we treat it accordingly.
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential for the Website to work. Others help us understand how the Website is used, for example through analytics services such as Google Analytics. Videos embedded from platforms such as Vimeo or YouTube may also set their own cookies when you play them.
We do not currently use advertising or retargeting pixels. We may use them in the future, for example to show our content to people who have visited the Website. If we do, we will update this policy.
Where the law requires it, including for visitors in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we will only set non-essential cookies and pixels after you have agreed to them through our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the Website may then not work as intended.
The chat assistant on the Website, Edna, is an artificial intelligence, not a person. When you chat with Edna, your messages are processed by our chatbot provider and the AI services it uses in order to generate answers. We may review conversations to answer follow-up questions, respond to inquiries and improve Edna’s answers. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat. For how AI is used in my work more generally, see my AI Policy.
We use your information to:
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, for the Choice Letter and non-essential cookies); the performance of a contract with you or steps you ask us to take before entering into one (for example, a booking inquiry, a course purchase or a program registration); our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving our business, where these are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.
We only add you to the Choice Letter, our newsletter, if you sign up for it or otherwise clearly agree to receive it. Downloading a resource, making an inquiry or buying a course does not on its own subscribe you to the newsletter. We may still send you emails directly related to something you requested or purchased, such as course access or event information.
Every newsletter and marketing email identifies who it is from, explains how to contact us, and includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click, or by emailing hello@sylviedigiusto.com.
We will not sell, rent, or lease our subscriber lists to anyone.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as described here:
If we ever recommend third-party products or services and earn a commission when you buy them, you will buy directly from that third party under their own privacy policy. We do not pass your personal information to them for this purpose.
Payments for courses, programs and events are handled by third-party payment processors, such as Stripe and PayPal, which are certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of your purchase, such as what you bought, when, and the amount, for our business and tax records.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the Website and working only with reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Email is not a secure medium. Please do not send us sensitive information, such as card or account numbers, by email.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. In practice, that means newsletter data until you unsubscribe; inquiry and correspondence data for as long as needed to handle your request and our ongoing relationship; and purchase and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our service providers, such as standard contractual clauses or recognized data transfer frameworks.
Wherever you live, you can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can unsubscribe from our emails whenever you like.

Residents of certain US states may have similar rights under their state’s privacy laws, where those laws apply to us. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sylviedigiusto.com. We will respond within the time the law requires, and we may need to verify your identity first.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date below. If we make material changes to how we treat your personal information, we will also highlight them on the Website, and where appropriate notify newsletter subscribers by email.
