An Austrian mother, a French father, a Spanish grandmother and an Italian grandfather: I was international before I ever boarded a plane. The world felt like home long before I made the United States mine. And after more than twenty years married to a German, I have learned that diplomacy is best served with a sense of humor, a lesson every London audience appreciates. In the UK I have served audiences for Bloomberg in London and at the PSA UK national convention in Birmingham, among others.
For nearly twenty years I sat on your side of the table. I led the leadership academy of Europe’s largest retail and tourism group, decided which leaders rose, and booked the speakers who stood in front of them. Many of those leaders worked in the UK, alongside colleagues from Germany to Hong Kong, so I know how a British boardroom listens: politely, sharply, and with very little patience for fluff.
Today I live in Florida and speak in more than 25 countries. London is one of my favorite stages, because nowhere else does an audience laugh at the right moment and still ask the hardest question.
